What does each event offer me?

There are so many options based on what you might be interested in doing. Hopefully the below gives you some help when making your decision

Motorkhanas - Skidpan

It’s all about shapes. Rectangles, cones, and swirly whirly things, to be precise. Traffic cones are laid out on a suitable surface, to define a short course that must be traversed as quickly and accurately as possible. Competitors start from, and finish at, a stop, in garages defined by these traffic cones. The skidpan is a wet course using an automatic sprinkler system.

Motorkhanas - Figure 8

The SMSP Skid Circuit or 'Figure Eight' is a separate facility to the skidpan and racetrack. Its twisting, off-camber bends have been designed so that drivers can develop cornering skills and skid/slide control. The track is a dry course. Only 1 entrant at a time can compete.

Khanacross

Is like a giant motorkhana conducted primarily on unsealed surfaces. Similar as a test of driving skills to motorkhanas, but on a course up to 1.5km’s long, khanacross is a great opportunity to learn car control at slightly higher speeds.

Hill Climbs

Is all about controlled slides around a series of corners. Drifting is a judged and not determined by outright speed or time. Drift battles see drivers go head-to-head and attempt to mirror each other’s slides.

Club Racing - Track days

Mostly conducted at the recognised motor racing circuits around the country. Cars are released onto the track and race against the clock, and not the other drivers. Whilst sprints are not actually races, they give participants a great feel for what it is like to drive at high speed competitively around a racetrack.

Circuit Racing - Track days

Held on a closed circuit between two or more automobiles, running at the same time. In racing, the result is determined by the order automobiles cross the finish line after completing the specified number of laps, or required distance covered in the specified time.

Rally & Off Road Rally

Conducted on a course over a variety of terrains. A Short Course Off Road event is up to 15 kilometres. A Long Course Off Road event is longer than 15km and can include obstacles such as jumps and river crossings. Off Road events usually require a driver and navigator, however some events run classes for single-seater buggies.
