Road & Track Drivers Club (RTDC)

Based in Sydney and proudly affiliated with Motorsport Australia, Road & Track Drivers Club (RTDC) is a not-for-profit car club for anyone passionate about driving—on or off the track—in a safe, responsible, and fun environment.

Founded in November 2012 by a group of seven motorsport enthusiasts who became friends through shared experiences at local events, RTDC was created with a simple goal: to run motorsport events that are just as exciting to watch as they are to participate in. The founding members wanted to share their love for motorsport and create opportunities for others to get involved in the events they’ve always enjoyed.

Meet our Committee!

President & Treasurer: Johnathan Meads – john@rtdc.com.au 

Johnathan is one of RTDC’s founding members and has played a significant role in shaping the club and how it operates today. A proud EVO 7 owner, Johnathan previously enjoyed putting his car through its paces at skidpan events and track days. After the engine blew, the EVO became a long-term project (now more than 10 years in the making), with the ultimate goal of getting it back where it belongs: on the track. Johnathan is a qualified Clerk of Course and our resident timing guru, helping keep our events running smoothly and the results accurate. Outside of RTDC, he works as a Business Development Manager for a signwriting and display company.

  

Secretary: Thomas Kramer – rtdc@rtdc.com.au

Thomas has been an active member of RTDC for a couple of years and has recently taken on the role of Club Secretary. Behind the wheel, Thomas drives a Nissan Skyline and regularly gets involved in our Motorkhana events, putting his driving skills to the test and enjoying plenty of seat time. As Secretary, Thomas is now an important part of the team helping keep the club organised and running smoothly

 

Membership Officer: Reegan Metcalf – membership@rtdc.com.au 

Reegan is our Membership guru and the 2025 RTDC FWD Championship winner. While he’s currently taking a break from competing, Reegan is busy putting the finishing touches on his project car. The goal? To get back behind the wheel and take on even more events across Australia. When he’s not working on the car, Reegan plays an important role in keeping our membership running smoothly and helping grow the RTDC community.

 

Events Coordinator: Renee Meads – events@rtdc.com.au 

While Renee isn’t a founding member of RTDC, she has been involved in the club’s administration and events from the very beginning. Renee's always looking for new ways to improve the member experience and deliver bigger, better and more exciting events. Renee is a qualified Bronze Event Administrator and works closely behind the scenes to help ensure RTDC events run smoothly. She’s also the better half of Johnathan, making RTDC very much a family affair! Outside of the club, Renee works as an IT Project & Operations Manager within the travel industry.

Social Events Coordinator: Kirrily Pereria - rtdc@rtdc.com.au 

Kirrily is our newly appointed Social Events Coordinator and an active member of the RTDC community. She joined RTDC a few years ago after participating in the NSWRRC Motorsport Development Program and has since become a regular competitor at our Motorkhana events. Kirrily is also actively involved with the NSWRRC Social Committee, as well as being a member of NSWRRC, the Porsche Club and RTDC. When she’s not helping organise social activities, Kirrily can usually be found behind the wheel of her Porsche Boxster, enjoying plenty of seat time and getting involved in the motorsport community.

Ben is a passionate motorsport enthusiast who regularly competes in both track and Motorkhana events across multiple clubs. With a strong social media following built around his motorsport adventures, Ben is a great fit for RTDC and helps bring plenty of energy and exposure to the club. He has been part of the RTDC Committee for a few years, and we’re excited to have him back for another year. Never one to stick to just one car, Ben has been known to turn up to events in a variety of cars, including a WRX, Porsche and Peugeot S206. A qualified Driver Trainer, Ben is always happy to share his knowledge and experience, helping fellow competitors improve their skills and get the most out of their time on track.
